Bonus Math
Understanding the real value of a bonus requires calculating the expected return. Let’s take a typical welcome bonus: 100% match up to €200 with a 35x wagering requirement on the bonus amount, and a game contribution of 80% for slots.
Formula: Wagering requirement = Bonus amount × Wagering multiplier = €200 × 35 = €7,000.
If slots contribute 80%, the effective wagering requirement becomes €7,000 / 0.80 = €8,750. Assuming a slot RTP of 96%, the expected loss during wagering is €8,750 × (1 – 0.96) = €350. Since the bonus value is €200, the net expected value (EV) = €200 – €350 = -€150. This means the bonus has negative expected value unless you play high-RTP games or leverage free spins.
For a deposit of €100 with a 20% cashback offer (no wagering), EV = €100 × 0.20 = €20 — much simpler and positive.
| Bonus Type | Deposit | Bonus Amount | Wagering (x bonus) | Game Contribution | Effective Wagering | EV (€) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Welcome Match | €200 | €200 | 35x | 80% | €8,750 | -€150 |
| Cashback | €100 | €20 | 0x | N/A | €0 | €20 |

Pro Tips
The loyalty program at Space XY casino rewards frequent play through tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. You earn loyalty points for every real-money wager — typically 1 point per €10 wagered on slots. Points can be exchanged for cash, free spins, or bonuses. Higher tiers unlock perks like faster withdrawals, a personal account manager, and exclusive tournaments. To maximize, focus on games with high contribution rates (slots at 100%) and avoid triggering bonuses that reset your point accumulation.
